The SP85 is substantially lighter and more compact than its competitors and with a smaller tail swing. This, coupled with its excellent maneuverability means that it can work in more locations than its larger rivals and be transported more economically. The SP85 4x4 is available with two power options, battery-only or Hybrid power: Developed specifically for applications or environments where a Diesel engine may not be permitted, the battery-only option offers efficient, quiet, zero-emission operation.
The hybrid option incorporates Niftylift's revolutionary second-generation Hybrid power system. It uses a smaller, power-optimised Tier 4 Final-compliant Diesel engine, supported by the machine's electric motor when extra power is needed. This maintains power and performance while reducing fuel consumption for maximum efficiency. The innovative 'Diesel Re-Gen' feature also recharges the batteries, giving a 'fast charge' whenever the machine is idle, and the engine is running. In addition, an electric-only mode allows zero-emission operation, making it ideal for indoor use or quiet, clean operation.
The SP85 4x4 also includes Niftylift's multi-award-winning SiOPS®. This safety system eliminates sustained involuntary operation by instantly stopping machine movement if the user is pushed onto the control console, allowing them to recover their situation safely.
The SP85 4x4 is also fitted with Niftylink as standard. Niftylink is a powerful telematics tool that provides data insights on your Niftylift’s health, activity and location. These insights help users understand machine usage, performance and life cycle, and real-time error-code reporting.
